Senior Corporate Counsel, Litigation, Regulatory & Compliance

CLEAR is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team, focusing on litigation, regulatory, and compliance matters. This role involves managing commercial and regulatory disputes, overseeing corporate compliance, and supporting CLEAR's secure identity business, including its aviation and biometric technology offerings. The position reports to the Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer & Head of Litigation & Regulatory, and plays a key role in supporting CLEAR's continued growth.

Key responsibilities include managing commercial, civil, and regulatory disputes from early-stage conflict through resolution, advising on litigation risk and strategy, and resolving matters efficiently through negotiation or litigation. The role also involves monitoring and advising on adherence to applicable laws and regulations affecting CLEAR's business, engaging with regulators and government partners, and developing compliance programs, training, and reporting mechanisms. Additionally, the Senior Corporate Counsel will conduct internal investigations and ensure appropriate remediation and reporting.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of legal experience in litigation, regulatory law, and/or compliance at a law firm, in-house legal department, or government agency. A Juris Doctor degree and membership in at least one U.S. state bar in good standing are required. The candidate should excel in providing pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice, managing complex legal matters independently, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and drive collaborative solutions.

Compensation for this role includes a base salary range of $225,000 to $275,000, depending on skills and experience.
