Senior, Cost Accounting
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to join its Manufacturing Finance Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate cost accounting across the company's diverse product portfolio, contributing to the development, manufacturing, and production operations. The Senior Cost Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining cost accounting records, analyzing production costs—including materials, labor, and overhead—and managing inventory valuation. Key duties include supporting the evolution of the standard costing system, monitoring labor utilization, reviewing manufacturing department expenditures, and presenting monthly financial performance reports to site leadership. Additionally, the role involves participating in the annual physical inventory process and managing the inventory cycle count program.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in standard costing within the aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries. Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and ERP systems such as NetSuite or Oracle is essential. A solid understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is also required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication across various functions, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $114,000 to $171,000 per year, along with equity grants.
