Senior Cost Value Engineer

The Senior Cost Value Engineer at Anduril Industries is responsible for developing strategic supply networks and managing the cost of hardware products throughout their lifecycles. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure efficient production and cost optimization.

Key responsibilities include selecting suppliers for specific products, partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of manufacturing bills of materials. The engineer will also manage capital expenditures during new product introduction, conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and lead cost engineering activities to achieve target product costs.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and have at least 5 years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or the design of electronic or mechanical devices. Expertise in value or procurement engineering and total cost of ownership analysis at the component and product levels is essential. The role requires the ability to travel 10% to 40% of the time and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.

Anduril Industries offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
