HubSpot is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its Legal & Compliance team, focusing on Partner Programs within the Go-to-Market (GTM) business units. This role is pivotal in developing legal frameworks that enable partners to scale effectively and securely with HubSpot's rapidly evolving ecosystem. The position is remote, based in Ireland or the United Kingdom.

The Senior Counsel will collaborate closely with HubSpot's ecosystem leadership and cross-functional teams to support Partner Programs, Partner Sales, Partner Marketing, and Enablement. Key responsibilities include leading partner program initiatives, maintaining and refining program legal frameworks, negotiating complex technology transactions, advising on deal structures, and working with strategy, sales, marketing, and product leaders to achieve partnership and company objectives. Additionally, the role involves reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial and technology agreements with enterprise partners, including strategic partnership agreements, intellectual property licenses, and data privacy agreements.

Candidates must be qualified to practice law in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom, with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within an in-house technology company. Experience working with partner, sales, and marketing teams is essential, along with the ability to provide practical legal guidance on developing and evolving partner programs and associated legal frameworks. Proficiency in reviewing and negotiating technology contracts independently is required. Familiarity with SaaS distribution, reseller, and partner programs, including aspects such as pricing structures and order management, is advantageous. A working knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws and frameworks is also beneficial.

HubSpot offers a dynamic and transparent work environment where employees are encouraged to make decisions and provide advice to an empowered team. The company values strong relationships based on trust, effective handling of high-volume tasks, and the ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment. Clear and practical communication with non-legal stakeholders, superior organizational skills, and fluency in English are essential. Passion for the values outlined in the HubSpot Culture Code is highly regarded.
