Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer I/II to join our team in Littleton, CO. This role is integral to designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure for our Space Development Agency (SDA) programs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our IT systems, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information within a dynamic and innovative aerospace environment.

The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing security solutions across networks, servers, and applications. Key duties include conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks. The role also involves developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.

Candidates for the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer I position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in system security engineering. Required certifications include 8140 Intermediate or Advanced certifications such as Security+, Cloud+, CISSP, CISM, or CEH. Proficiency in security tools and technologies, experience with cloud security in platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, and an active Secret Clearance are also necessary. For the Senior Cybersecurity Engineer II level, a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.

Rocket Lab offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $115,000 to $170,000 for this position.
