Senior Data Engineer, Sentinel (Pacific Time Zone)

Komodo Health is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Platform team, focusing on building and enhancing our healthcare data architecture. This role is pivotal in developing and operating cloud infrastructure to support our mission of reducing the global burden of disease through data-driven insights.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions using AWS core services, developing backend APIs and microservices in Python, and building robust CI/CD pipelines with Terraform and GitHub Actions. Your work will ensure the reliability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness of our platform infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Python programming, deep technical troubleshooting skills, and a strong background in cloud infrastructure, particularly with AWS. Proficiency in big-data tools and workflow orchestrators such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Temporal is essential. Additionally, a solid understanding of networking fundamentals and the ability to leverage AI tools to streamline engineering workflows are highly valued.

Komodo Health offers a competitive compensation package, with annual base pay ranging from $153,000 to $210,000, depending on location and experience.
