Senior Data & Insights Engineer, New Venture
The Senior Data & Insights Engineer will be a key member of the New Venture team at Spring Health, a company dedicated to eliminating barriers to mental health care. This role involves owning the end-to-end data layer, including pipelines, data models, analytics, and dashboards, to ensure data reliability and accessibility for informed decision-making across the organization.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining data pipelines from application databases to Snowflake, designing and optimizing data models, ensuring data integrity across systems, translating business questions into analyses and dashboards, developing self-serve analytics tools, resolving data discrepancies, integrating multiple data sources, and collaborating cross-functionally to define metrics and improve data accessibility.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering roles, strong SQL skills with experience in Snowflake or similar data warehouses, proficiency with backend systems like Python and Postgres, proven ability to build and maintain ELT/ETL data pipelines, experience with product analytics tools such as Mixpanel or Amplitude, a strong intuition for data quality, and the ability to translate ambiguous questions into structured analysis. Comfort operating in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment is also essential.
The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 to $196,480, complemented by a competitive total rewards package that includes equity and benefits. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, location, and internal pay equity.
