Senior DevOps Engineer I
Spring Health is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer I to join our Platform team in Seattle, WA. This role involves collaborating closely with AI and Infrastructure teams to enhance automation tooling and ensure the reliability of our multi-cloud infrastructure. The position is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days per week in the office, with occasional travel for team on-sites.
Key responsibilities include contributing to the DevOps team on-call rotation, developing internal tooling to maintain platform stability, partnering with AI teams to build scalable infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices, and creating automation tools aligned with team standards. The role also involves participating in design consultations for new services, acting as a subject matter expert on infrastructure reliability and deployment patterns, and collaborating across engineering teams to identify and automate solutions for developer experience bottlenecks.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building highly available and reliable systems within AWS, working knowledge of deploying services using Azure and GCP APIs, and a proven track record of developing custom automation tools to address complex infrastructure challenges. A deep understanding of infrastructure fundamentals and IaC best practices is essential. Experience with containerized environments like Kubernetes/EKS is preferred, along with a proactive approach to security and compliance within cloud environments. Knowledge of telemetry and observability best practices is also desirable.
The target base salary range for this position is $159,100 to $191,000, complemented by a competitive total rewards package that includes equity and benefits. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
