Flex is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead the expansion of its pay-over-time platform into new industries. This high-impact role involves identifying and securing strategic partnerships that will drive the company's next phase of growth. The position reports to the VP of Strategic Partnerships and focuses on targeting major payment platforms and vertical SaaS providers across sectors such as insurance, utilities, telecom, automotive, and healthcare.

The successful candidate will be responsible for originating and building new partnerships by proactively sourcing and qualifying opportunities that provide scalable access to new industries. This includes leading the full lifecycle of strategic negotiations, developing market entry and go-to-market strategies, enabling scalable distribution through platforms, aligning with go-to-market and sales teams, launching and operationalizing partnerships, and providing market insights to product teams to shape integration strategies.

Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales within FinTech, Payments, or SaaS. A proven track record in sourcing and closing complex, first-of-kind deals is essential. Experience with aggregators or platform-based partnerships, full-cycle deal ownership, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate with urgency and adaptability in fast-changing environments are also required.

The on-target earnings (OTE) for this role range from $280,000 to $360,000 annually, depending on the candidate's experience and location.
