Senior Director, Creative Strategy
The Senior Director, Creative Strategy at Braze will lead a team of strategists to develop and implement the company's core brand strategy. This role serves as a critical bridge between the creative team and internal partners, identifying opportunities and crafting compelling briefs to drive impactful brand work. Reporting to the Executive Creative Director, the position is integral to the brand leadership team.
Key responsibilities include building, leading, and mentoring a team of strategists who collaborate across the business and client base. The role involves scoping programs of work with partners to provide strategic insight and direction, developing new research methodologies to generate original insights, and providing strategic direction on product and experience initiatives. Additionally, the Senior Director will proactively identify new products and campaign opportunities within the business.
The ideal candidate will possess a portfolio showcasing breakthrough strategic direction and creative output for major brands and agencies. They should be an integrated problem solver, capable of aligning brand strategy, communications, content, product, and user experience. Strong team management skills, the ability to inspire and nurture talent, and fluency in current social platforms, mobile technology, and social change are essential. A minimum of 12 years' experience in both in-house and agency settings, developing impactful campaigns and strategies, is required.
Braze offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $159,700 to $221,900 per year, with On Target Earnings (OTE) between $187,000 and $261,000 annually, inclusive of bonuses or commissions.
