Key responsibilities include leading a team of diverse individuals to deliver to a client’s business, providing strategy communications and planning leadership across categories, and partnering with account and functional heads to push the needle on marketing and digital excellence. The role also involves demonstrating a strong understanding of the ecosystem, brand, category, and consumer to derive insights, infusing best-in-class practices and frameworks, and communicating complex ideas and insights in a way that all understand and apply. Additionally, the Senior Director will integrate relevant multimedia opportunities into campaign plans, lead and orchestrate new business pitches, and leverage the extended WPP ecosystem to build effective solutions for clients.

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of experience, with at least 7 years in the media industry. They should demonstrate exposure and management of senior clients and stakeholders, as well as leading a team. Integrated media and marketing knowledge, including traditional media, digital media, data, research, and insights, is essential. The candidate should possess creative problem-solving abilities, an attitude of curiosity and continuous learning, comfort with multiple kinds and sources of data, and excellent presentation and storytelling skills. Proven experience managing a team and negotiating different situations, skillsets, and personalities is also required.
