Senior Electrical Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Tactical Recon & Strike team in Atlanta, Georgia. This team is responsible for developing aerial small drones and associated equipment, transforming concepts into operational systems. The company focuses on advancing U.S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology, including autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will design and oversee embedded control electronics from concept to production, encompassing hardware selection, schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, and system-level integration. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical and software issues using lab equipment and debugging tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver fully functional products, and managing product sustainment through engineering improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with over five years of experience in designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems. Required skills include power management and supply design, network management and switch design, proficiency with test equipment, exceptional organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency with electronic design automation tools. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance is also necessary.
Preferred qualifications include proficiency in C programming, familiarity with software development tools such as Git and JIRA, experience in safety-critical environments, and work on products used in challenging conditions like automotive, aerospace, or defense sectors. Knowledge of embedded software development, including timers, interrupts, and hardware peripherals, is also advantageous.
The position offers a salary range of $126,000 to $167,000 USD, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as experience and skills.
