Senior Electrical Engineer, Space
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Space team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on designing, fabricating, and flight-testing advanced payloads for space applications, contributing to the company's mission of enhancing U.S. and allied military capabilities through cutting-edge technology.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will collaborate with the Electrical Engineering Manager and Systems Engineer to develop design requirements, create block diagrams, and produce schematics using Altium. Responsibilities include circuit simulation, PCB layout design, generating technical documentation, performing design validation testing, supporting test development, and providing debugging assistance.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent) and have over five years of relevant experience. Essential skills include proficiency in schematic design, board bring-up, schematic reviews, power circuit design, and familiarity with lab equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes. Strong organizational and communication abilities are also required.
Preferred qualifications encompass experience with Altium for schematic and layout design, power distribution network analysis, differential pair routing and debugging, soldering proficiency, and knowledge of communication buses like I2C, SPI, UART, RS-422/485, Ethernet, and PCIe. Additionally, two or more years of experience in the New Space industry is advantageous.
