This role focuses on leading Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMI/EMC) design initiatives for advanced defense technology products. The position involves a temporary training period of three months in Santa Ana, California, before transitioning to the Ashville location.

The Senior Electrical Engineer will evaluate high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs for EMI/EMC compliance. Responsibilities include using EMC simulation tools to predict and analyze electromagnetic performance, integrating EMI/EMC considerations into product design, conducting tests to assess electromagnetic emissions and susceptibility, and troubleshooting performance issues throughout the product lifecycle. The role also involves defining EMI/EMC design guidelines and staying updated on military and avionics standards such as MIL-STD-461 and DO-160.

Candidates must possess a Certified TEMPEST Professional (CTP Level 2) certification and have over seven years of experience in designing hardware products for EMI/EMC compliance. Required skills include proficiency with EMI/EMC test equipment, comprehensive understanding of PCB layout techniques, strong mathematical background for driving EMI/EMC simulation tools, and familiarity with standard interfaces like Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, and USB. An active U.S. Secret security clearance is also necessary.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
