Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our NextGen OS team, focusing on developing the operating system stack for future vehicles and new products. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and work on a new full-stack operating system, contributing to the advancement of vehicle intelligence technologies.

In this position, you will be responsible for building a modern, safety-certified Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and embedded platform. Your tasks will include collaborating with Pigweed developers to complete and implement pw_kernel on internal hardware platforms, integrating the Rust toolchain into our CI/CD pipeline, and architecting highly reliable embedded software solutions.

The ideal candidate will have over four years of experience in embedded RTOS or systems software development, excellent programming skills in C or C++, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Additional experience in developing in Rust at the embedded or systems software level, prior work on on-vehicle technology, and the ability to work with safety-critical robotic systems with real-time constraints are advantageous.

Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $155,000 to $242,000 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits.
