Senior Engineer, Environmental Health & Safety

The Senior Engineer, Environmental Health & Safety at Anduril Industries is responsible for developing and implementing EHS programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This onsite role in Costa Mesa, California, involves working within manufacturing and R&D environments to promote a safe and healthy workplace.

Key responsibilities include conducting accident and incident investigations, analyzing root causes, and implementing preventive actions. The role serves as the EHS liaison with employees, managers, customers, auditors, and regulators. Additional duties involve identifying workplace safety hazards through inspections, collaborating with various departments to promote safe behaviors, managing hazardous waste, and ensuring compliance with safety programs and standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in implementing and overseeing EHS programs, with knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations and hazardous waste management under 40 CFR Parts 260-279. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.

The position offers a salary range of $86,000 to $114,000, with actual compensation varying based on experience and qualifications.
