Senior Enterprise Application Security Engineer

Archer is seeking a Senior Enterprise Application Security Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. As a leading aerospace company, we are dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility through the development of all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft. This role is integral to ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud-native environments and enterprise systems.

In this position, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining secure cloud architectures across AWS and Azure platforms. Your day-to-day tasks will include enforcing zero-trust principles, leading security reviews of Infrastructure as Code templates, integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines, and securing containerized workloads. Additionally, you will map cloud security controls to industry frameworks and lead investigations into cloud security incidents.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least three years focused on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux environments is essential, along with coding skills in Python, Go, or Bash. Experience with security tools like CSPM/CNAPP and SIEM platforms, as well as knowledge of frameworks like NIST CSF and FedRAMP, is required.

We offer a competitive base salary ranging from $155,000 to $185,000, determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
