Senior Firmware Engineer, Motor Controls
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop motor control and actuator firmware for its autonomous vehicles operating across land, air, and sea. This role is integral to advancing Anduril's mission of transforming defense capabilities through cutting-edge technology.
The engineer will design motion control systems for precision actuators and electric propulsion, develop microcontroller software using real-time operating systems, and create reusable device drivers and application libraries. Responsibilities also include assisting with hardware selection, product design, and supporting device manufacturing and operational deployments.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with experience in low-level firmware architecture and development in C. A background in embedded ARM microcontrollers, low-level device driver development, and familiarity with embedded systems tools is essential. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled data.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in most full-time offers.
