Senior Flight Test Engineer, Group 5
Anduril Industries is seeking a highly motivated Senior Flight Test Engineer to lead the developmental testing of a revolutionary Group 5 Unmanned Aerial System (UAS). This role involves close collaboration with program leadership and cross-functional teams to build a team focused on solving complex problems and transforming the defense industry. The Senior Flight Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and reporting on all facets of the test program. Key responsibilities include leading a team of flight test engineers and program representatives in conducting ground and flight test events at private and government-owned test ranges. The role also involves collecting and analyzing test data, developing requirements in collaboration with engineering teams, and ensuring safe operations in accordance with established procedures.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline and at least 10 years of experience as a test conductor or director for developmental aircraft, weapons, or missile systems. Required qualifications include extensive experience with developmental systems of manned and/or unmanned aircraft, a comprehensive understanding of Test & Evaluation engineering concepts, and familiarity with relevant standards such as DCMA INST 8210, MIL-STD-516, and 14 CFR. The ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret-Level security clearance is also necessary.
The salary range for this position is $126,000 to $167,000 annually, with actual offers varying based on factors such as experience and education.
