Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer to join their Space team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves developing FPGA/SoC firmware and overseeing third-party development to create products for orbital deployment. The Space team focuses on enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control for U.S. military and allied partners by developing integrated hardware and software systems.

Key responsibilities include rapidly developing, testing, and implementing FPGA designs using Xilinx SoC/FPGA, integrating third-party vendor IP as necessary, and collaborating with internal and external design teams. The engineer will perform digital circuit design, VHDL/Verilog coding, synthesis, place and route, timing closure, simulation, and verification. Participation in the entire design life cycle, from requirements and concept through design and hands-on testing/board bring-up, is expected.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in FPGA/HDL hardware design, with a preference for experience with Xilinx SoC (Versal). Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog, familiarity with design software like Vivado, ModelSim, or Quartus, and experience in SoC hardware bring-up, preferably on ARM-based systems, are required. Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is necessary.

The position offers a salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 USD, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, and critical skills. Anduril provides comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost, income protection through life and disability insurance, generous time off with a holiday hiatus in December, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, and relocation assistance depending on role eligibility.
