Senior Global Supply Manager, Mechanical
The Senior Global Supply Manager, Mechanical at Anduril Industries is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the strategic development and cost management of the company's mechanical supply network. This position involves close collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure efficient product development and production processes.
Key responsibilities include conducting supplier selection for specific products, partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of a manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM). The role also entails managing capital expenditures throughout New Product Introduction (NPI), conducting value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility, and ensuring completion of all component qualifications prior to production.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or a related technical field, along with at least 6 years of experience in supply chain commodity management of mechanical fabrication manufacturing or sourcing engineering. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time and relocate to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA. Preferred qualifications include a degree in mechanical or metallurgical/materials engineering, experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, high tech, or related industries, and expertise in total cost of ownership (TCO) analysis.
