Komodo Health is seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to enhance the security and efficiency of our systems and data. This role involves managing identity and access controls, implementing security solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our IAM strategy, directly impacting the company's growth and innovation.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated processes for onboarding, offboarding, and role changes across platforms such as Workday, Okta, and Google Workspace. The engineer will build and optimize complex automation flows, manage identity providers within the IAM system, handle access requests, and develop IAM policies and procedures. Additionally, the role involves implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) models, managing Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) configurations, and ensuring compliance with standards like SOC2, HIPAA, and GDPR through regular access reviews and audit logging.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management, with significant hands-on expertise with Okta. A strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, directory services, SSO, MFA, SCIM provisioning, and federation protocols (SAML, OIDC, OAuth) is essential. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Ruby for automating tasks and handling large-scale data operations is required. Experience with automation platforms like Workato, integration with HR systems like Workday, and knowledge of compliance requirements related to IAM are highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills are also crucial for success in this role.

Komodo Health offers a competitive total rewards package, including comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; a 401(k) plan with company match; disability and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
