Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to join our Manufacturing team in Lexington, Massachusetts. This role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations for quality, reliability, speed, and asset utilization, aligning with critical customer deployment and internal development timelines. The Manufacturing team is responsible for rapidly iterating and building cutting-edge defense hardware, including static equipment, ground vehicles, sensors, undersea systems, and flight vehicles, while scaling these products across existing and new manufacturing facilities.

The Senior Industrial Engineer will produce and maintain capacity models and production ramp plans to define labor planning, capital expenditure requirements, workstation design, and throughput gaps. Responsibilities include designing effective facility layouts and production lines using CAD and simulation tools to meet process requirements, enable production targets, optimize resource allocation and material flow, and maximize productivity and quality. The role also involves identifying and addressing high variability processes and production bottlenecks, leveraging a data-driven approach to improve throughput, and maintaining a virtual factory model for performance assessment.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in a high-rate manufacturing environment involving complex mechanical and/or electrical assemblies with significant data utilization. Required qualifications include expertise in factory and production line design and setup, material flow systems, and digital systems such as Siemens "Plant Simulation" or equivalent. Experience with ERP, WMS, and MES systems, as well as Lean Manufacturing principles, is essential. Strong technical ability to read technical documentation and an understanding of various hardware manufacturing processes are also required.

The salary range for this position is $129,000 to $171,000 per year.
