Senior iOS Developer

Archer is seeking a Senior iOS Developer to join our team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining core iPad application features that enhance pilot experiences. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and AI teams to deliver innovative solutions in the aviation industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and developing iPad applications using Swift, focusing on performance, stability, and usability. You will deploy and optimize on-device machine learning models for real-time intelligence, integrate mapping and live weather feeds, and ensure the application operates reliably in offline scenarios. Additionally, you will oversee the App Store release process and contribute to technical roadmaps and peer code reviews.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional iOS development experience, particularly with iPad applications. Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with modern UIKit/SwiftUI architectures are essential. A proven track record of shipping and supporting apps on the Apple App Store is required. Experience with Core ML, MLX, or similar frameworks for on-device machine learning, as well as familiarity with mapping technologies, will be advantageous. Strong testing, debugging, and optimization skills are also necessary.

Archer offers a competitive base salary ranging from $134,400 to $168,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
