Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial) - 12 month contract
Trustpilot, a high-growth FTSE-250 company, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join its Commercial Legal team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role involves working closely with enterprise clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders to support Trustpilot's continued growth and to help shape the company's legal frameworks for the future.
The Senior Legal Counsel will lead complex commercial negotiations, including enterprise customer agreements, strategic partnerships, and high-value supplier arrangements. Responsibilities also include developing scalable legal frameworks, templates, and processes that support business growth while effectively managing risk. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior legal team members and driving initiatives to enhance legal operations and commercial processes.
Candidates should be qualified to practice law in England & Wales or Scotland, with 5-9 years of relevant post-qualified legal experience, preferably in the technology sector. Expertise in SaaS agreements, software licensing, data processing agreements, and complex technology transactions is essential. A proven track record in leading high-stakes negotiations and managing sophisticated commercial relationships is also required.
Trustpilot offers a competitive base salary ranging from £85,000 to £100,000 per annum, along with a range of flexible working options, 20 vacation days plus additional personal days and paid holidays, and rich learning and development opportunities.
