Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Machine Learning/MLOps Engineer to join the Applied Intelligence team within Maritime Digital Production. This role involves leading the design, deployment, and maintenance of the AI infrastructure that integrates data, tools, and personnel across the digital shipbuilding environment. The position focuses on operationalizing advanced models and architecting the industrial AI stack to enhance production systems effectively.

Key responsibilities include architecting and managing the AI/ML platform stack, encompassing data ingestion, labeling, feature engineering, model training, deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management. The engineer will select and standardize industrial AI components such as feature stores, vector databases, orchestration layers, and observability systems. Additionally, the role involves building model-serving frameworks optimized for various environments and translating factory scenarios into applied AI workflows with defined human-in-the-loop controls and integrations with enterprise systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong stakeholder management skills and over eight years of experience in software or machine learning engineering, with a track record of delivering production-grade AI/ML systems. Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow is essential. Experience with MLOps practices, containerized ML services using Docker and Kubernetes, data engineering, time-series data modeling, and real-time systems integration is required. Excellent communication skills and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance are also necessary.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $220,000 to $292,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants. Anduril provides comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to employees, life and disability insurance, generous time off including a holiday hiatus in December, caregiver and wellness leave, family planning and parenting support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, and relocation assistance depending on role eligibility. Retirement savings plans are also available, including traditional 401(k), Roth, and after-tax options.

Anduril Industries fosters a high-tech, fast-paced culture of innovation focused on delivering real-world systems. Employees have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology, contributing to the transformation of U.S. and allied military capabilities. The company emphasizes collaboration across diverse teams and offers growth opportunities in a dynamic environment.
