Senior Manager, Foundry Customer Engineering
The Senior Manager, Foundry Customer Engineering at Samsung Semiconductor will oversee customer programs across various process technologies. This role involves seamless collaboration with both customers and internal departments, from business development to new product introduction and full production. The position is based in San Jose, California, with an expectation of daily onsite presence and less than 10% domestic and international travel.
Key responsibilities include supporting internal account strategy plans, coordinating business and engineering executions, and ensuring customer satisfaction by responding to account actions. The role also involves driving collaboration on technical and cost-effective solutions to meet both customer and foundry goals. Additionally, the manager will partner with engineering and business groups to ensure new product introduction activities align with customer schedules and technical requirements.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related Physical Science with over 15 years of experience, a Master's degree with over 13 years of experience, or a PhD with over 10 years of experience. Recent experience in semiconductor process, product, or device engineering is required. Preferred qualifications include previous work experience with major semiconductor foundries or Integrated Device Manufacturer companies, as well as project management experience. Strong customer orientation, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel are essential.
