Senior Manager, Global Payroll
Spring Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Payroll to lead and enhance our payroll operations. This role is integral to our People Team, reporting to the VP of Total Rewards & People Operations, and involves close collaboration with Finance and People Ops teams. The position is based in New York City with a hybrid work arrangement, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office.
The Senior Manager will oversee the integration of payroll systems following a recent acquisition, aiming to unify distinct payroll processes by October 1, 2026. Responsibilities include leveraging AI and automation to streamline payroll administration, ensuring compliance as we expand into international markets, auditing workflows for accuracy, and managing multiple payroll cycles across all entities. Additionally, this role acts as the primary liaison between People and Finance departments to maintain data integrity and budget alignment.
Candidates should have over six years of payroll management experience, including at least two years in a leadership role. Essential qualifications include expertise in payroll tax compliance across multiple states and countries, experience with payroll software migrations, and familiarity with international labor laws. Strong communication skills, a systems-thinking mindset, and the ability to balance HR and Finance priorities are also required.
The target base salary range for this position is $147,140 - $186,210, complemented by equity and benefits. Individual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, location, and internal pay equity.
