Senior Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering
As the Senior Manager of Manufacturing Test Engineering at Anduril Industries, you will lead the strategic oversight and tactical management of production systems supporting high-volume defense products. Your role ensures the implementation of rigorous testing protocols, guaranteeing the consistent delivery of superior quality products to our customers. This position demands an innovative approach to resolving complex testing challenges, advancing scalability, and enhancing automation, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics methodologies.
Key responsibilities include directing the manufacturing test engineering team by setting objectives, guiding initiatives, and assessing team outcomes. You will architect and oversee the manufacturing test strategy for each product, ensuring scalable operations from pre-production to full-scale output. Additionally, you will strategize and implement advancements in manufacturing testing, focusing on automation, uniformity, and operational streamlining. Evaluating test data to identify opportunities for product and process enhancements is also a critical aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience leading manufacturing test engineering. Proficiency in Linux, C#, Python, and NixOS is required, as well as solid experience with PCBA/electronic assembly testing and knowledge of testing standards. Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of non-conforming hardware and familiarity with Product Life Cycle (PLM) systems, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), and Test Execution Systems (TES) are essential. Experience in managing projects that integrate electrical, mechanical, and software/firmware systems is also necessary.
Compensation for this role ranges from $166,000 to $220,000 annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in the majority of full-time offers.
