Senior Manager, Strategic Solutions Engineering
As a Senior Manager of Strategic Solutions Engineering at Motive, you will lead a team of Solutions Engineers collaborating with Strategic Account Directors to drive revenue growth through technical expertise and value-based selling. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Solutions Engineering, you will foster a customer-focused team culture grounded in operational rigor and mastery of Motive's platform.
Your primary responsibilities include mentoring and developing a team of Strategic Enterprise-focused Solutions Engineers, ensuring the delivery of customized demonstrations aligned with buyer pain points and business outcomes. You will drive operational excellence in proof-of-concept workflows, act as a trusted technical advisor on Motive’s capabilities, and collaborate with Account Directors to craft persuasive responses to technical evaluations and security reviews.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of pre-sales leadership experience supporting Enterprise or Strategic accounts within SaaS or complex technology environments. A proven background as an individual contributor Solutions Engineer with a record of success in complex technical selling is essential. Strong understanding of value-based selling frameworks, experience with integrations, cloud architectures, APIs, hardware/IoT, and emerging technologies such as AI/ML is strongly preferred.
Motive offers a competitive compensation package, with on-target earnings ranging from $208,000 to $270,000 USD, depending on location.
