Senior Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer
Archer is seeking a Senior Manager, Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team in San Jose, California. This role is integral to our mission of developing all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, focusing on advancing sustainable air mobility. The successful candidate will lead supplier industrialization and quality engineering efforts, ensuring that our suppliers meet the highest standards required for aerospace manufacturing.
In this position, you will oversee supplier validation audits, manage daily activities between suppliers and internal teams, and develop processes to support the installation and maintenance of flight test instrumentation. Collaborating closely with engineering design and analysis teams, you will establish comprehensive instrumentation plans and support the Aircraft Operations Team in implementing instrumentation designs. Your leadership will be crucial in ensuring that flight test instrumentation activities are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have over 7 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer or Instrumentation Engineer. Experience with the design and installation of wiring for flight, routing of wires/harnesses for aircraft, and generating work instructions is essential. Additionally, proficiency in design for manufacturing and the ability to lift 30 lbs unassisted are required.
At Archer, we offer a competitive base pay range of $140,500 to $183,000, determined by job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
