Senior Manager, Tax Provision
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Manager, Tax Provision to lead the tax provision process and ensure compliance with ASC 740. This role involves implementing processes and procedures to compute quarterly and annual income tax provisions, developing effective internal controls, and collaborating closely with the Finance and Accounting team, as well as third-party service providers.
Key responsibilities include building and developing processes for insourcing the accounting for income taxes, managing tax provision software implementation, preparing quarterly and annual worldwide accounting for income taxes, analyzing financial forecasts to compute quarterly effective tax rates, and preparing tax-related disclosures for financial statements. The role also involves assisting in due diligence of potential M&A targets and related tax accounting matters, monitoring federal, state, and foreign tax legislative changes, and developing appropriate internal controls related to accounting for income taxes.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, with a Master's Degree in Business Taxation preferred, and a CPA certification. A minimum of 8 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a public accounting firm, is required. Extensive background in ASC 740/FIN 48 is essential, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with Oracle and/or tax provision software is a plus. The candidate must have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to organizational changes. U.S. Person status is required due to access to export-controlled information or facilities.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
