As a Senior Marketing Manager Retail Media, you will play a pivotal role within our team, overseeing a strategic client in the Commerce Retail Media sector. Your expertise will significantly contribute to the growth and visibility of the client's brands. This position is based in Düsseldorf, Germany, and offers a dynamic environment within WPP Media, a global leader in media and marketing services.
Your primary responsibilities will include strategic client leadership, encompassing global communication and coordination with international stakeholders. You will be responsible for planning, creating, and optimizing Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Ads and DSP. Additionally, you will develop and implement retail media advertising strategies on platforms of key retailers, ensuring comprehensive campaign management. Regular analysis and reporting of campaign performance, deriving actionable insights, and conducting client reviews will be integral to your role. You will also manage assigned media budgets, overseeing their control, planning, and reporting. Participation in various internal projects will provide opportunities to actively shape the agency and contribute to the development of the commerce sector.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience in retail media or performance marketing, with a clear focus on Amazon Advertising (Sponsored Ads and DSP). Proficiency in tools such as Pacvue (or alternatives like Skai/Kenshoo) and, ideally, Helium10 is essential. Strong knowledge in campaign management, optimization, annual strategy development, reporting, and data analysis is required. Demonstrated experience in client leadership and task management within a small team is crucial. An analytical mindset with a strong numerical understanding, coupled with the ability to present complex information professionally and understandably, is vital. Fluency in both German and English is mandatory.
