Senior Material Flow Engineer, Supply Chain
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Material Flow Engineer to join its Supply Chain team in Ashville, Ohio. This role focuses on optimizing warehousing and material flow operations to ensure high-quality, reliable, and efficient processes that meet critical customer deployment and internal development timelines. The position requires close collaboration with teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Business Operations to support a global manufacturing platform.
Key responsibilities include identifying and resolving bottlenecks in inventory processes, line layouts, and staffing to enhance production efficiency. The engineer will develop and maintain metrics and KPIs to monitor production line health, conduct time studies, and implement process improvements using tools like Value Stream Mapping and Line Balancing. Additionally, the role involves translating analytical tools and reports into actionable tasks to improve warehouse operations across multiple sites.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and have over five years of experience in a high-rate supply chain or manufacturing environment involving complex mechanical and electrical assemblies. Proficiency in reading technical documentation, including drawings and CAD data, and understanding various hardware manufacturing processes is essential. The role requires the ability to travel up to 25% and relocate to Columbus, Ohio, if not already local.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Siemens Plant Simulation, Visual Components, or similar process simulation software, as well as expertise in factory design, value stream mapping, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles. Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like NetSuite or Oracle is advantageous. Hands-on experience with SQL databases for tracking production and inventory metrics is also desirable.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000 annually, with actual compensation varying based on experience, education, and skills.
