Senior MLOps Engineer

Lighthouse is seeking a Senior MLOps Engineer to join their Data R&D team, focusing on designing, building, and maintaining robust infrastructure for machine learning solutions, including classical models and LLM-powered features. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams to deploy AI features into production, impacting a global network of hotels.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing core infrastructure for deploying and managing machine learning models and generative AI systems in production. The role also involves developing and maintaining data pipelines using Airflow, deploying and optimizing models on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with tools like VertexAI, and creating foundational tools to enable other engineering teams to ship AI features. Collaboration with Data Scientists to improve model accuracy and scalability is essential.

The ideal candidate has significant experience in an MLOps role, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning models, including Generative AI, at scale. Strong hands-on experience with GCP services like BigQuery and VertexAI, proficiency in Python and SQL, and experience with data pipelines using Airflow are required. Familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn, understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and strong communication skills are also important.
