Senior Packaging Engineer, Electromechanical Hardware
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to join its Supply Chain team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on developing and maintaining comprehensive packaging solutions for advanced defense technologies, ensuring the protection and efficient transport of high-value and sensitive products. The Senior Packaging Engineer will be responsible for designing packaging that safeguards sensitive technology during transport, storage, and deployment. Key duties include leading the creation of internal packaging solutions for production line delivery, conducting material selection and supplier evaluations, developing prototypes, and collaborating with teams to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials. Additionally, the role involves leading risk assessments for packaging-related issues and utilizing ERP and WMS systems to manage packaging inventory and provide data-driven insights.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering and have over five years of experience in packaging engineering within high-rate supply chain or manufacturing environments involving complex mechanical or electrical assemblies. The role requires the ability to travel up to 25% of the time and relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is also required.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $146,000 to $194,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
