Senior Performance Marketing Manager
Checkr is seeking a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to drive the growth of our SMB and Commercial segments. This role is integral to our Growth Marketing team, focusing on optimizing existing performance marketing channels and identifying new avenues for expansion. As a key player in our acquisition strategy, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the business.
In this position, you will define and oversee all paid acquisition strategies, managing both agency-run paid search programs and in-house channels. Your responsibilities will include rapidly identifying, testing, and scaling new marketing channels, developing frameworks for quick experimentation, and driving optimization through paid landing page experiments in collaboration with design, website, and analytics teams. Additionally, you will manage the paid media budget, analyze datasets to understand the paid marketing funnel, and partner closely with finance, analytics, marketing operations, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment and integration of marketing strategies.
The ideal candidate will have over six years of experience in digital and performance marketing across search, social, affiliate, and display channels, with hands-on experience managing paid search campaigns at scale. Experience in developing and executing paid acquisition strategies at fast-growing companies, particularly in SMB B2B tech, is preferred. A strong analytical mindset, proficiency with analytical tools such as Google Sheets/Excel, Looker, and Google Analytics, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment are essential. A self-starter attitude with a focus on continuous improvement is highly valued.
Compensation for this role varies by location. In San Francisco, CA, the base salary range is $167,000 to $196,000 USD annually, while in Denver, CO, it ranges from $141,000 to $166,000 USD annually.
