Senior Product Designer
Archer is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to join its Design Studio in San Jose, California. This role involves collaborating with the in-house Product Development team to design digital interfaces across mobile and desktop platforms, both internal and external facing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in creating innovative features and products, ranging from internal proof-of-concept demos to customer-facing SaaS solutions for airline industry clients, aligning with Archer's mission to advance sustainable air mobility.
Key responsibilities include collaborating regularly with engineers, designers, product managers, and key stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and conduct design reviews. The designer will translate complex requirements into intuitive user flows with polished, on-brand interfaces, working within and contributing to Archer's design system. Additionally, the role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design specifications to support rapid engineering iteration and validation through proof-of-concept demos.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in a senior or staff-level designer role, with a well-rounded digital product design portfolio showcasing result-driven case studies. They should have a proven track record in designing SaaS products and complex technical interfaces, ideally for enterprise customers. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma and Adobe, experience collaborating with engineering teams, and a strong understanding of user research, interaction design, and information architecture are essential. Familiarity with AI products and technologies, as well as experience in the airline industry or enterprise SaaS, is a plus.
