Senior Product Designer
Duolingo is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic Design team, dedicated to creating engaging and user-friendly experiences across our mobile apps, website, and communications. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with designers, engineers, and product managers to enhance our design language and contribute to our mission of providing accessible education to over half a billion learners worldwide.
In this role, you will design and prototype playful learning experiences for the Duolingo app, leading large work streams with independence. You will mentor peers across the Design team, work with artists to expand our design language, and partner with cross-functional teams to define both long-term strategies and short-term tactics. Your responsibilities will include considering all aspects of the user experience, from animation and copy to UI and business impact.
The ideal candidate will possess an online portfolio showcasing simple consumer mobile apps, a high standard for visual design and interaction details, and fluency in creating high-fidelity prototypes quickly. Experience shipping products at scale in a product organization, the ability to explain work and decisions concisely, and a strong appetite for feedback are essential. A willingness to tackle complex problems within ambiguous contexts is also important.

Duolingo offers a competitive salary range of $177,700 to $300,000 USD, along with equity compensation and world-class benefits.
