As a Senior Product Designer I at Zip Co Limited, you will lead the end-to-end design of product enhancements for our platform, which enables users to make purchases, split them into installments, and manage their repayments. This role emphasizes integrating AI into the design process to research, prototype, validate, ship, and scale product experiences. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Data, Risk, and Compliance, to ensure responsible and effective use of AI in discovery, experimentation, and execution.

Your primary responsibilities will include redesigning design workflows using AI to accelerate research synthesis, ideation, and validation. You will create repeatable AI-assisted frameworks for rapid prototyping and experimentation, define best practices for AI-supported discovery, and improve measurement of design impact through AI-driven pattern detection and signal extraction. Additionally, you will embed AI into cross-squad collaboration to enable faster scoping and clearer trade-offs, and identify areas where AI can reduce manual effort in documentation and system thinking.

The ideal candidate will have a portfolio demonstrating systems thinking and measurable impact, with at least 5 years of experience in product, UX, or interaction design at scale. Experience working on complex, multi-product ecosystems with cross-functional dependencies is essential. You should have a strong ability to interpret metrics and make data-informed decisions, lead lean experiments, and validate hypotheses quickly. Proficiency in incorporating AI-powered tools into research, prototyping, documentation, or design operations is highly desirable.
