Senior Product Manager, Vehicle Acquisition

CarGurus is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Vehicle Acquisition strategy within our Dealer Product team. This role focuses on developing innovative tools that enable auto dealers to efficiently and profitably acquire used vehicles for their inventory. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build products that allow dealers to source inventory directly from shoppers.

Key responsibilities include owning the roadmap and strategy for Vehicle Acquisition, ensuring alignment with business goals and dealer needs. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and optimization. The Senior Product Manager will also distill complex problems into clear product requirements and collaborate with various teams to develop data-driven, intuitive product experiences.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in dynamic environments, working collaboratively with engineering, design, and analytics teams. Previous experience in launching and managing B2B products is essential. A strong ownership mindset, customer empathy, and excellent communication skills are crucial for success in this role. Analytical proficiency and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams are also required.

The position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $140,000 to $175,000, depending on work location and other factors. This salary is part of a comprehensive Total Rewards Package, which may include discretionary bonuses, incentives, and Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
