Senior Product Sourcing Engineer
The Senior Product Sourcing Engineer at Anduril Industries is responsible for developing strategic supply networks and managing costs for product hardware throughout its lifecycle. This role involves close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing, to ensure efficient production and development processes.
Key responsibilities include selecting suppliers from an approved list, partnering with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development, and driving the development and consolidation of manufacturing bills of materials (BOMs). The engineer will also manage capital expenditures throughout new product introduction (NPI), conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead times, and lead cost engineering activities to maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and have at least five years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, or the design of electronic or mechanical devices. Expertise in value or procurement engineering at the component and product level is essential. The role requires the ability to travel between 10% and 40% of the time, depending on program needs, and the capacity to relocate to Lexington, MA, if not already local. Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance is also required.
