Senior Project Engineer, Manufacturing Development
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join its Manufacturing Development team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on implementing the Manufacturing Development Process (MDP), a framework designed to enhance manufacturing readiness and enable scalable production. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align manufacturing milestones with program schedules and drive the adoption of best practices across product lines.
Key responsibilities include introducing the MDP framework to diverse stakeholders, leading its rollout for specific product lines, and tracking execution progress. The role also involves creating data visualization dashboards to communicate manufacturing readiness, facilitating phase-gate evaluations, and developing resources to support MDP adoption. Additionally, the Senior Project Engineer will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and program managers to resolve production readiness issues.
Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, operations, design engineering, consulting, change management, project management, program management, or engineering transformation, with a total of 8+ years in relevant domains. A strong understanding of the product lifecycle and its importance for manufacturing readiness is essential. The role requires the ability to collaborate across all levels and disciplines, strong business acumen, and a process-oriented mindset. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required due to access to export-controlled information.
