Senior Quality Engineer
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Fury Launch Team (FLT) at Arsenal-1, their advanced manufacturing facility in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves a six-month training program at Anduril's headquarters in Costa Mesa, California, before transitioning to the Columbus location. The Senior Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the Group 5 Autonomous Vehicle product meets the highest quality standards throughout its lifecycle.
The Senior Quality Engineer will collaborate closely with design teams to integrate quality into the product from the outset. Responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting audits and inspections, and leading Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) activities. The role also involves analyzing product health data, maintaining accurate quality documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Management System.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, along with experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within aerospace, defense, or similar hardware industries. Proficiency in design review and quality management of aviation systems, PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and lethality systems is essential. Familiarity with product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is also required.
Anduril Industries offers a competitive salary range of $113,000 to $149,000 per year for this position.
