Senior Reliability Engineer, Aircraft Systems
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our Aircraft Systems team in Costa Mesa, California. The Reliability Engineering team collaborates with the broader Engineering organization to ensure our products meet or exceed mission performance requirements, withstand challenging environmental conditions, and satisfy all customer specifications.
In this role, you will support and review system block diagrams, interface control documents, and schematics for compliance, redundancy, and accuracy against requirements and concept of operations. You will lead Failure Modes & Effects Analysis efforts and collaborate with cross-functional Engineering teams to implement product improvements for reliability. Additionally, you will perform predictive reliability analysis to calculate probability of loss of control, loss of asset, and MTTF/MTBF utilizing Anduril requirements, specifications, and relevant industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Reliability Engineer, Design/Development Engineer, or Test Engineer. A B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline is required. Experience with safety-critical hardware and software systems in the defense or aerospace industry, particularly with aircraft systems, is preferred. Familiarity with standards such as MIL-STD-810, MIL-HDBK-217, 217Plus, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-516C, and MIL-STD-1629 is also desired.
The salary range for this position is $166,000 to $220,000 per year. Anduril offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans at little to no cost to employees.
