Senior RF Design Engineer, Electronic Warfare
Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior RF Design Engineer to join their Electronic Warfare team in Costa Mesa, California. This role focuses on developing advanced radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers for applications such as electronic warfare, wireless communications, and radar systems. The Senior RF Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing high-power RF circuits. Key tasks include evaluating and selecting power amplifier components, performing modeling and simulation of active and passive circuits, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications. Additional duties involve generating schematics, guiding PCB layout, conducting board bring-up and testing, and assisting with manufacturing process development.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and have at least five years of relevant RF design experience. Expertise in broadband high-power amplifier design across frequency ranges from VHF to X band or higher is essential. Proficiency with RF simulation tools, experience with impedance matching, and familiarity with test equipment such as vector network analyzers and spectrum analyzers are required. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance is also necessary.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 annually, along with highly competitive equity grants.
