Senior Sales Account Executive
Square is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Account Executive to join our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on expanding our merchant base across diverse industries. This role involves developing and executing outbound sales strategies to introduce Square's comprehensive ecosystem to new clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in new logo sales and demonstrate a proactive, self-starting approach.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing the entire outbound sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals with small and mid-market merchants. Key duties include building and maintaining a robust pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, and targeted campaigns. You will develop tailored, multi-product solutions that address each merchant's unique needs, conduct impactful discovery calls and demos, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation.
The role requires a minimum of three years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding quotas. Candidates should have proven success in outbound prospecting and new business development, preferably within SaaS or fintech sectors. Strong consultative selling skills, exceptional communication abilities across various channels, and proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools are essential. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is also required.
Square offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary and target variable compensation. The total compensation ranges from $129,600 to $234,200 annually, depending on the candidate's location and experience.
