Senior Sales Account Executive
As a Senior Sales Account Executive at Square, you will join our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on engaging small to mid-sized restaurant owners. Square, a subsidiary of Block, Inc., has evolved since 2009 from enabling simple payment solutions to offering integrated, omnichannel tools that empower businesses to sell online, manage inventory, and access financial services. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach within the restaurant industry by introducing Square's comprehensive ecosystem to new clients.
In this position, you will be responsible for the entire outbound sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Your daily activities will include sourcing leads, conducting cold calls and emails, performing discovery calls and product demonstrations, and developing tailored solutions that meet each prospect's unique needs. Collaboration with the Business Development team is essential to convert and close outbound leads, and you may also engage in fieldwork to build strong relationships and increase win rates. Achieving and exceeding monthly sales goals through proactive sales efforts is a key aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Strong communication skills, diligence, and the ability to build rapport with prospects are essential. Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools is preferred. A collaborative, team-oriented mentality and the ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced environment are also important.
Compensation for this role varies based on location, with annual salaries ranging from $129,600 to $234,200, including target variable compensation.
