As a Senior Sales Account Executive at Square, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our reach to small and midsize businesses across diverse industries. This position is part of our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on introducing Square's comprehensive ecosystem to new sellers. Square, a subsidiary of Block, Inc., is dedicated to providing integrated, omnichannel solutions that empower businesses to thrive in today's dynamic commerce landscape.

In this role, you will own the full outbound sales cycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closing deals with SMB and mid-market merchants. Your responsibilities include building and managing a high-quality pipeline through cold outreach, social selling, targeted campaigns, and creative outbound strategies. You will develop multi-product solutions tailored to each merchant's unique needs and collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Implementation, and Operations teams to deliver cohesive solutions.

The ideal candidate has over three years of full-cycle B2B sales experience with a consistent record of exceeding quotas. Proven success in outbound prospecting and net-new business creation, particularly in SaaS or fintech industries, is essential. Experience in closing complex, multi-threaded deals with longer sales cycles, exceptional communication and negotiation skills, and advanced proficiency with Salesforce and modern sales tools are also required.

Block, Inc. offers a market-based compensation approach, with pay varying depending on location. For this role, the salary ranges from $156,200 to $234,200 annually, including target variable compensation.
