Senior Sales Account Executive

Square is seeking a seasoned Senior Sales Account Executive to join our Outbound Sales Team, focusing on engaging restaurant owners within the small to mid-sized business sector. This role is pivotal in expanding Square's presence in the restaurant industry by introducing our comprehensive ecosystem to new clients. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with a strong background in new logo sales and a passion for driving business growth.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing your own outbound sales strategy, including sourcing leads, conducting cold calls and emails, and generating interest in Square's products and services. You will lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, utilizing a consultative approach to understand and address the unique business and technological needs of each merchant. Collaboration with the Business Development team will be essential to build a robust book of business and ensure successful onboarding of new clients.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a full-cycle closing sales role, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. Strong communication skills, diligence, and the ability to build rapport with prospects are essential. Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM systems is preferred.

Compensation for this role varies based on location, with annual salaries ranging from $129,600 to $234,200, inclusive of target variable compensation. Specific pay zones are determined by a cost of labor index for each geographic area.
